The MCTQ’s education department offers a wide range of stimulating activities: guided tours, creative workshops for families and school groups, a literary competition, group shows, outdoor performances and special projects.

The museum’s educators strive to meet the specific needs of different visitors, whether they be groups with a specialized interest; community, social or cultural groups; or high school, college or university classes.

The museum supports and facilitates schools’ participation by working with them to develop customized activities related to the museum’s mission. Teachers are invited to join the MCTQ’s educators in developing projects at all instructional levels that meet Quebec education department (MEQ) standards.

A vital link between the museum experience and classroom learning, the education department’s activities promote the sharing of ideas in an open, welcoming environment.
